1985 MK2 Ford Fiesta 1.1 Sport - Awaiting Preparation

The Fiesta 1.1 S was designed to bridge the gap between the standard Fiesta models and It's Sportiest Cousin the XR2. For two reasons. Firstly to combat the high insurance premiums that had associated with the Hot Hatches. The other reason is to make a more affordable version. Not a vanilla 1.1 Popular plus or a adult 1.6 Ghia. It featured a 5 Speed Gearbox, Rev Counter and teal Accents along the body. The Style is subtle and came in a 1.1 or 1.3 power plant. This particular model featured here benefits from a tilt Sunroof and of course manual windows and mirror adjustment normal for the time for every model in the line up except Ghia models . In summary a Zippy, Sportier and unassuming model that is rare amongst its line up.
